Balder acquires hotel property in Turku
Original Sokos Hotel Kupittaa is our second hotel property acquisition this year. The transaction was carried out in excellent cooperation with Rausanne Oy.
This property significantly strengthens our growing hotel portfolio.
Acquisition of a production property in Vaasa
We have concluded a transaction with Famdell Oy Ab, Kvadraten Ab, and VP Facilities Oy Ab, through which Primo Finland’s premises have become part of our ownership.
“Expanding investments in the Vaasa region is a natural step for us. As a long-term owner, we trust in the region’s positive development also in the future. The flexible industrial hall leased by Primo Finland strengthens our growing portfolio of production properties,” comments our CEO Juha Lehtonen.

Here’s a timeline of Balder Finland’s story:
🔹 2023
The first steps in Finland. The first joint projects, the first coffee breaks with the team at the Helsinki office. A lot of building, especially laying the foundations of the organization.
🔹 2024
The year of growth! The team expanded, projects became more diverse, and business development took an even more central role in our work. Partnerships broadened, and we opened an office in Vaasa for our own property manager.
🔹 2025
This year has brought several property acquisitions, strengthened customer partnerships, and even more Balder colleagues.
The journey is the goal!
