The new hotel, restaurant, and event complex at Oulu Market Square has been completed. The property is home to the Scandic Go hotel as well as Tarkastamo’s restaurant and event facilities.

The new hotel, restaurant, and event complex at Oulu Market Square has been completed. The property is home to the Scandic Go hotel as well as Tarkastamo’s restaurant and event facilities. In July 2025, we signed an agreement with SRV regarding the acquisition of the property and the completion of the construction works. Construction resumed in autumn 2025. Oulu, which is celebrating its year as a European Capital of Culture, now welcomes a new destination that strengthens the city’s tourism, accommodation, and event offering while supporting the vitality of the city centre.
