We have entered a new real estate segment in Finland by acquiring a property portfolio located in the Rauma port area. The seller in the transaction was UPM-Kymmene Oyj. In accordance with Finnish law, the city has a statutory pre-emption right to the property.
The acquisition comprises approximately 21 hectares of land and 12 buildings used for logistics and industrial operations. The property portfolio is operated by the port operator Euroports Rauma Oy.
“This is a significant real estate investment serving industrial and logistics activities. The strategically important logistical location of the Port of Rauma supports the business development of both current and future operators,” says Juha Lehtonen.
